China: 'The relatives of three Christians being held in labor camps in mainland China have appealed to local authorities for an explanation of their crimes. A letter of appeal was also received by Christians in Hong Kong, detailing the arrests of the three men, who were sentenced to “re-education through labor” camps without trial. Meanwhile China has rejected charges of religious repression published in last week’s report of the United States Commission on Religious Freedom.
