Nepal: 'A little too much conversation: Nepalis like to know all the essential details in the first minutes of any acquaintanceship. On walks in the villages, the first question is always: "where have you come from?" They will often ask you, as a foreigner, where you are going, but to do the same back to them might cause offence - in Nepali culture, one should never be certain about any future outcome.'
